Thin cloud cover, warm temperatures, and light winds.
Snowpack
On average the height of snow was around 150cm on northerly slopes. This area was heavily wind affected, and many snow surfaces observed were firm. Isolated pockets of dry snow in lower angle dishes. Small pockets of surface slab would break underfoot. In general, variable riding conditions near and above treeline. Below treeline, warm temperatures warmed the snow surface. No cracking or collapsing observed. No wet activity observed, but out of the backcountry by 1 pm.
