Weather
Clear/partly cloud. Calm <5mph 10-15 degrees
Snowpack
Overall depth of about 1 meter. Top 10 cm new snow, w/ ~10cm wind slab underneath. ~30-40cm of facets at the bottom.
Avalanche
There is a small gully feature at the bottom of the glades, and one member of our group went too low to get around it. We discussed the safest way down, which he skied, but remotely triggered the steeper, more north facing side of the feature. The avalanche broke about 20 cm deep (the wind slab and storm snow on top of it), and rode on a bed of facets over steep rocky terrain.
