Snowpack

The upper snowpack in where we dug in Batchplant consisted of alternating layers of rounded grains and facets. This sits on top of depth hoar. There is a decomposing melt-freeze crust in the depth hoar layer about 23cm above the ground. We had propagating ECT results just below this crust.
