Northern San Juan

Weather
Clear skies, cool temperatures, and lots of radiation. Moderate wind transport could be seen on alpine ridges, but near-treeline in the bowl, winds were light and variable with no blowing snow.
Avalanche
Quite a bit of new and recent activity in the northeast-facing gullies on the ridge between Georgia and Prospect gulches. Some of these paths showed evidence of older slides underneath the more recent ones. I also observed one rider-triggered slide in upper Prospect.
