We rode Avalanche crest and dug a pit at the top after the recent snow we wanted to see how the Dec 26 layer was. 2150m 25 degree slope, no wind SW aspect CTM 5 resistant planar 65cm SH CTM 8 resistant planar 35cm SH ECTM 8 65cm propagated SH From results we stuck to the trees and stayed away from convex roles. Snow felt great nice a dry/low density. The riding was amazing! When we got down to about 1500m snow got heavier and started to see shooting cracks. Ski cut across a convex roll at 1450 a small slab released 35cm thick
