Weather

Kebler Pass orographics in full effect. Snowed all morning with moderate west winds and temps in the mid 20's. Felt wintry, with rime on all the trees and low density stellars on the surface.

Snowpack

HST 8-10". Big (3mm) slippery stellars, mixed with graupel from Friday's convection. Light drifting in open slopes, but only a wind skim on the surface, no slabbing observed.

Avalanche

Fast shallow sluffing in surface snow on slopes over 40 degrees, but otherwise no signs of instability. New snow was well bonded at the old snow interface, down 25cm.
