Weather

Cloudy skies and temps in the teens and 20s. Light snow for most of the day with a couple short periods of S3. At 1100, 8" of new snow with 0.9" of water content. 3" additional at 1500. Observed some fresh wind drifts and cornice development with moderate SW winds.

Snowpack

Ski tests produced very little evidence of fresh storm or wind slabs. A cornice drop produced and small storm slab (D1) running on the new old interface (NE near treeline). Unlike some recent observations, no loose snow activity was observed on steep N aspects below treeline.
