Clear and cold with temperature warming significantly by 10 am. However, winds increased as well with moderate wind from the West

West facing slopes near tree line were faceted with a right-side up resistance profile and no propagation in extended column tests. Snow depth was around 55 cms. Digging on the margins of a slab just below ridge line on an East facing slope yielded poor structure with a relatively strong 1F to P hard slab (60cms where I dug) over basal facets. No propagation in extended column test on the basal facets at this location.
