Weather

Clear skies, warm temperatures out of the wind. 3" of settled new snow on the highway storm board.

Snowpack

No signs of instability during a short tour on W-N-NE aspects at and below treeline. Testing revealed several near surface facet interfaces in the upper portion of the snowpack, but none produced propagating failures.

Avalanche

Recent observed avalanche activity has been produced by small cornice falls, triggering shallow slabs none of them exceeding D1.5 in size.
