Snowpack
Traveled on east and northeast-facing terrain. Dug into the snowpack and found a thin layer of facets under recent storm snow. Same buried facet/ crust combo highlighted in forecast still lingers on east and southeast-facing terrain. Crust layers seemed to stay frozen and locked up until at lower elevations. Could almost not punch through the top of the crust with our ski poles. Didn't find any totally faceted snowpack areas like due north terrain in the canyon.
Avalanche
Old slide debris most likely from a mid-storm interface on east and northeast-facing paths in Upper Madden Creek. Probably ran during main storm event on 19th.
