Weather

Sunny and breezy with the occasional strong gust. Wind was keeping all but south slope surfaces cool.

Snowpack

North near treeline slopes stayed cold and dry throughout tour. No cracking or collapsing observed. Quick pits showed a 120cm average height of snow, with two predominate layers, rounding facets and depth hoar at around 40cm from the ground. South slopes had an average snow depth of 60cm, the snowpack was moist throughout and trap door conditions were found near and below treeline. Only areas exposed to the wind stayed supportable. East slopes had moist snow on surface to 10cm below the surface. Multiple crusts and an ice layer 30cm below the surface were observed. Average snow depth was 160cm at ridgetop. Rounding facets were observed to 100cm from the surface.
