Mt Whymper Avalanche Control Planned Sunday March 8 2020

Parks Canada will be conducting avalanche control on Sunday March 7.
Expect highway closures.
No outdoor activities this day in these areas:

1) Highway 93 South
Mount Whymper 10:00 AM

2) Mount Bourgeau along the Sunshine Village access road (including the ice climbs
Bourgeau Left and Right) 13:00 PM

3) Mt Field along the Yoho Valley Road and Trans Canada Highway 15:30 PM

4) Mt Stephen 15:30 PM
*** Please Note: additional avalanche control is planned for Monday March 8 on Highway 93 south and in Yoho National Park.
