Weather

Cold. Temperature remained well below 30 degrees with a northwest wind.

Snowpack

The height of snow where winds drifted snow above weak layers on northeast slopes can be over a meter, but more consistent coverage on northerlies lies around 50cm in the above treeline elevation band. West-facing slopes also have fairly consistent 30-40cm coverage. I found a faceted basal layer on all north slopes I traveled ranging from 20cm to 45 cm deep. nI drifted areas a 1F slab sits above these weak basal facets.

Avalanche

I passed an avalanche crown reported previously by other parties and dug in a similar aspect/elevation.
