Avalanche

Skinned past a natural / potential skier-triggered avalanche near the current creek trailhead on Berthoud Pass. 11200 elevation, SE aspect below treeline. Observed a single snowboard track a few meters lookers right of the avalanche flank which may have remote triggered this slide. The four in our party turned beacons to search but did not pick up a signal. We skinned through the runout of the avalanche to search for a signal or any signs of rider burial, and agreed there were none. Slide was moderate in size, roughly 30 meters across with a crown between 2-4 ft. Seems to have failed near bed surface, ~ 3 ft down.
