Connaught Creek Snowpit

Snowpit dug at 1650 m below tree line, just above summer trail near Christmas trees. 10 cm new snow on crust. CT resulted in 22 hard planar break at 45 cm on a SE aspect 40 degree slope. Inverted snow pack present with wet high-density snow below 50 cm.
