Hiked up to boom lake to check things out. 10-20cm fresh snow with large hoar frost crystals on all snow surfaces not in the trees At lake level. Boom has huge cornices end to end as far as the naked eye can see. Cornice fall directly across the lake from our position down to the fan lakeside.
