Spent the day checking out some south facing terrain around Paget Peak with high hopes of fresh turns on a nice supportive crust. Managed to find exactly that, with great travel through treeline and alpine terrain on a ~5cm thick MF crust up to 2750m. Approximately 20cm low density fresh on top of the MF crust appeared to be bonding well. Plenty of good turns to be had. Great to milk a bit more out of winter while we still can!
