We climbed from 1/4 way up the road to Berg Lake and skied a couple ridge runs before the conditions started to get windy and very overcast. Overall, skiing conditions were quite good. About 15cm of fresh powder for the first 75 m, then onto a barely noticeable crust. Cat track down was awful, deep ruts everywhere made by sledders topped of with a rain crust made it very tiring to ski down at the end of the day. Pit results were a bit concerning but we chose to ski down some mellow slopes mostly around trees.

Weather

Started out clear, broken clouds. But around 11:00 am it turned into overcast conditions.

Snowpack

We did 2 tap tests, both on the same aspect and got roughly the same result: M2- SP@ 25cm and another M7 RP@ 30cm. Everything below that was fairly consolidated. Also did a finger test and I could feel 3 different layers all within the top 40cm.
