Weather
At roughly 2pm, the winds shifted blowing approx south/sw and the snow began to fall. It snowed consistently for the next 9 hours.
Snowpack
From observations it appeared that around 10 inches to a foot of new snow fell with large amounts loaded on those south/sw facing slopes of Malamute Peak. We rebroke trail knee deep on those aspects and I would say the danger changed from our ascent to our descent considerably.
