Clear skies, nil to light West winds. 48F at 9am.

Snowpack

SW aspect near treeline (11,600'): 10cm supportive crust at surface from radiation refreeze above 5cm, large meltform grains, sitting on top of old dirty crust (prior surface before late April storms). MULTIPLE LARGE, RUMBLING COLLAPSES triggered on ascent reacting between late April snow and old snow. Boot penetration at 10am, 10-15cm; ski penetration 2-3cm.
