Snowpack

Not much snow left on the pass. The south side is completely melted out to ridgetop, and most of the north-facing paths are also below threshold. What snow is left is frozen melt forms top to bottom. Snow depth is patchy and variable, with the shadiest areas holding an average of 12" of snow. Tower and the adjacent road cuts still have enough snow to provide a bed surface for loose avalanches, and Tower might have enough volume to reach the road with a full-depth loose wet slide.
