Snowpack
Toured in Paradise Divide area. Widespread settlement above and below treelike. A lot of woofping and cracking. Saw a natural slide from earlier in the day on N/E aspect above treeline. Slide started near a ridge top and was about 75 meters wide and ran approximately 200 meters on a slope between 35 and 40 degrees. We remotely triggered a slide from the valley bottom. Slide started on N/E aspect above treeline and propagated to N. facing slopes. Crown varied from 15cm to 100cm. Slide was approximately 300 meters wide and and ran as much as 150 meters on steep slopes. All slides we saw ran on faceted snow near the ground. Slides were on steep slopes and did not propagate onto lower angle slopes. Skied low angle powder below treeline.
