Weather

Mostly clear skies in the morning. Clouds started to build in the early afternoon, becoming mostly cloudy by 2 PM in Leadville. Temps dropped below freezing for a few hours this morning at 12000 ft, quickly rose up into the low 40s. Southwest winds kept surface frozen on shadier slopes in early afternoon, but didn't do much to slow melting on sunny slopes.

Snowpack

Found wet snow on slopes all around the compass, but didn't get on steep northerlies. Not a lot of snow left on S and W aspects in the alpine.
