Snowpack

1" of new. Drifts up to 6" on isolated NE features with some cracking. West aspects near tree line held a mix of moistening unsupportive facets to the ground and cross loaded hard slab.

Avalanche

On a W aspect NTL, Skier triggered a D1.5 wet loose (comprised of moistening facets). The avalanche ran about 800 vert and stepped down to a hard slab that failed on faceted snow at the ground. 3ft deep, ~60 ft wide, D2 in size.
