Weather

Weather was mixed, mostly snowing s1 with sustained winds at 10-15 from the west and temps around 20.

Snowpack

Explored east aspect above treeline. Dug a pit below a ridge at about 11,500. HS 250 cm, new snow 25 cm. Column test showed new snow broke at 5 taps, and snow from 2 storms ago broke on 11 with a very clean shear (Q1) on what seemed like a temperature or melt/freeze crust. Snow was loose sluffing on steeper slopes, and a cornice at a lower elevation broke and slid under the weight of a skier.
