Above treeline: Saw about 10 windslab type failures in the Ruby Range, most appeared to fail mid-storm with crowns and debris filled in. Soft slabs on S, SE, E, and NE aspects, estimated a couple feet deep on mid-storm layers or storm interface. SS-N-R2-D1.5/2-U. A couple faintly visible crowns had wider propagation, pushing into R3, on SE aspects of Afley and Purple. Dozens of more recent loose dry on all aspects, D1's. This morning, observed one natural loose snow avalanche run 1,500 feet down S/SE face of Ruby, and pull out a small soft slab below some rocks. L/SS-N-R1-D1.5-S. No D3 slides observed. Below treeline: Lots of natural soft slabs on north and east slopes, most appeared to fail mid-storm, likely on the faceted storm interface, 1-3 ft deep. SS-N-R3-D1/2-I. One near the Anthracites on a NE aspect ran impressively wide, R4, D2.5, fresher crown. At Irwin, large airblasts on previously trafficked and mitigated slopes produced no results.
