Winds blowing down valley from the North, moderate with strong gusts. Light snow and cold temps through afternoon.

14” of dense cohesive storm snow. In areas affected by the wind a 4F soft slab has developed. Stability tests showed poor bonding with mid-storm interface and easy compression test failures with poor quality at old snow/storm snow interface Extensive cracking in areas where a thin layer of buried surface hoar below the storm snow is present.
