Clouds and sun - light winds - intermittent snow flurries.

Snowpack

Everything up to the avalanche felt quite solid. At the slide, it felt as if the entire mountainside settled about 6 inches and made a rather large rumbling sound. A crack shot out from under my ski across the slope and then up above where the crown formed.
