temperature was 5 degrees at 12 p.m. some sun mostly clouds, 10-15 mph winds from all directions, some wind slabs forming along the ridge, 10,600' east aspect
Snowpack
Knee deep trail breaking to get to the location. Height of snow as 305 cm. dug to within 80 cm of the ground, ect tests showed failures with in the new storm snow, but no propagation. Snow hardness got harder as you got deeper with pencil hardness around 150 cm on down. With a probe you could feel depth hoar at the bottom of the snow pack. Area has seen skier traffic.
