Weather
Pass level winds N/10+. On Coal Bank Pass - evidence of very windy conditions at pass level yesterday evening or overnight. Unusual stiff wind slab present with plenty of tree debris on the surface (small spruce limbs and needles). See photo. There was some wind affect on Molas too, but not to this extent.
Snowpack
New wind drifting in areas south of Molas Pass toward Coal Bank Pass. Seeing fresh soft slabs all over little convexities around Molas Pass (new since yest morning). More evidence that the pack still has not adjusted to the new load.
