Clear and cold. Temperature is from Lost Dog Snotel site. No new snow. Light winds.

Snowpack

Snowpack is shallower than in central and southern parts of zone (Rabbit Ears Pass - Buffalo Pass - Ripple Cr Pass) and more wind affected. Cohesive slabs exist above weak layers where wind drifting occurred. Storm from last week settled into 4F hard layer above thin, brittle rime crust. Very weak 2mm depth hoar layer at base of pack.
