Mild temperatures and clear skies, gradually clouding up through the day. Gusty west winds at ridge top.
Snowpack
Surface snow showing the effects of weeks of warming. Soft melt forms on surface form 1030am. Supportive to skis. No notable depletion of snowcover since trip on 4/6/2015. Snowpack depths on road ranged from 40cm to 190cm. Depth increased with elevation until ridge top, then diminished. Max cornice form ~15 feet at Beeler Grade.
Avalanche
No new avalanche activity observed, with the exception of one very small Wet Loose point release from rocks low in Brumley slide path. Only noted collapse was snow bridge over clear creek.
