Snowpack

New snow has settled a bunch with 10" settlement cones in the RL glades and boot top ski pen. Hand pits and ski pole tests on the way up revealed a fairly strong midpack with a few inches of 3mm facets at the base. Top of the bowl had a thin wind slab/crust in the top 20 feet, then soft below. Lower elevations had small surface hoar on top, but this was absent up higher. I didn't notice the Christmas Crust at all while skiing, but found it intermittently on the way up. Skied the bowl from the notch just left of the summit. Still a bit thin up top, but creamy once you got 50' down. No signs of instability on the way up or down
