Weather
28-35F at 11,800, between 0800h and 1300h. Consistent 25-30mph W winds with gusts maybe 40. Hazy + 3/4 Obscured Sky. No snowfall, until front moved in at 1:30p with S1 snowfall.
Snowpack
East Side Routes have hard wind slab ~40cm over basal facets. Pine needles everywhere, the wind event definitely left it's mark in scouring most of the snow. West Side routes above aqueduct/below apline covered in wind slabs of various thickness - 1F-P hardness, no loose snow anywhere to be found. The zone really got pounded by wind. Perfect Trees in Current Creek completely scoured to ground. no localized whumpfing or cracking, but several releases heard over Jones Pass way between 9-10am.
