Skied up to Taylor Lake to practice snowpack assessments. We performed four separate column tests between two pits, roughly 3 metres away from each other. The most reactive column dropped from only three wrist taps. The other three columns averaged 3-5 elbow taps before popping. The storm slab is roughly 50cm. Sitting upon the highly reactive January 30th crust interface. As well as subsequent facets.
