Dog Leg off of Hero's Knob

Balmy temps of -25 out on Hero's Knob and lots of new snow on the way. There was some fresh snow sitting on top of a thin facet stack and rock. We opted for a few laps on the far left slope and stuck around in tree line with the alpine looking pretty loaded. We had a bit of shifting on the moraine. Shallow convex features near the top of the slide path, so with one attempted ski cut, we just ended up eating it on some shallow rocks. :)) That was the only incident though. It is a bit skied up and I'm assuming with the warm weather on route it will be a bit crusty in the following days, but made for a great day with the current snowpack. Rip out your dynafit gear for the ski out cause she fast.
