Trespass

Went to check out trespass ridge. As we gained the ridge above the cut block we saw a crown running at least 20m across the main ridge higher up and were tempted into skiing the cut block below us instead. Tested one small convex feature as we entered the cut block and released a slab at 40cm depth (photo 1). As we cut across to low angle terrain we passed a slab released by another group (photo 2) at the same depth. We gained the ridge again and this time went to investigate the NE treed slope around 1700m. Sudden moderate (18) CT failure at 20cm depth here. Similar convex features in this location sloughed but nothing more, good skiing back from here.
