Variable conditions on our day from Flute across to lower Cowboy Ridge. Best skiing found in wind sheltered areas at treeline. Concerning results from snowpack tests verifying presence of persistent slab problem which we found on a NE slope at 1900m at treeline.

Investigating a 35 degree NE facing slope at treeline. CTE 6 SP down 30cm on facet layer above supportive crust. Test repeated 2 further times with similar results failing on buried facets.
