Warm up has been significant.... snowpack has that spring-like glare going on...
some pretty interesting numbers from local weather stations today:
Molas Pass got up to 49F Lizard Head Pass had 3 hours above 50F TSP showing high of 43F and 5 hours at or above 32F Abrams still at 32F after 10 consecutive hours at or above 32F with a high of 37F Kendall (13,100') got to 33F

Snowpack
These kinds of temps are expected to continue tomorrow and the next day before clouds move in and decent chance for snow Wed. PM... Plenty of loose sloughs out of steep sunny aspects, as expected, yesterday and today... but also sensing that natural creep in the upper snowpack is accelerating and warming is getting deeper... we could see some natural slab activity tomorrow and/or Tuesday on S and W aspects in the afternoon.
