Weather

Relatively warm but strong winds kept things chilly; overcast skies, sorta high-cirrus but 8/8 covered. No new snow, just lots of fuzzy ridges with winds loading up lee aspects.

Snowpack

Many layers of wind-slab; the primary concern is the latest (overnight/today) wind-slab settling over Wed/Thurs new snow. In various test pits, I found CT3-4 about 13cm down, failing somewhere in the new snow, not immediately below the newest wind-slab. In the field, multiple indicator slopes revealed propagation with moderate loads. Cornices were v. tender too.
