Weather

HS 82". HN/W 6"/0.4". Overcast skies, snowed all day 2-3" additional. Cold temps, moderate SW winds and moderate wind loading.

Snowpack

Signs of developing instability (minor cracking E near TL), but low density new snow not quite slabbing up yet. Found NSF on the old snow surface- unsure of the extent. Expect conditions to become more touchy with additional accumulations.

Avalanche

Fresh cornice fall caused widespread, shallow natural activity in Alberta's Cousin. No other natural activity observed along the highway corridor.
