Top 2 feet of snowpack wet and cohesionless, numerous small wet avalanches of the surface layer observed along the highway corridor. 5-6 feet of snowpack on the road under the West Roaring Fork area. Final grade to the summit has very deep areas of snow on the road due to winter windloading
