Overcast with periods of S2. 3" of new snow during the day. Variable winds from the S-NW at moderate speeds. Temps in single digits

Snowpack

3” through the day, 4" overnight. New snow becoming wind affected and feeling slabby. Several collapses felt in flatter open terrain. All avalanche activity came from areas which have seen little to no traffic. Main runs which have been skied have much less signs of instability. ECTP 29 SC running on large depth hoar in JB Jungle shows the 2.5” H2O from this storm may be straining the basal layers in some areas.
