Weather
Warm temps with strong solar crusted steep southerly slopes. Snow remained cold and dry on low angle and shady aspects. Moderate snowfall occurred in the RMP region on 1/30 with accumulations around 6 inches.
Snowpack
Variable snowpack. Some areas where it is still easy to punch through the storm snow to the facets below. We experienced cracking and whoomphing on SE facing slopes above treeline, propagating long distances.
