Weather: Scattered increasing to overcast, with very light snow in the afternoon. Trace accumulation. Calm to light winds from the W to NW.

Snowpack

Surface hoar in tandem with near surface facets noted above crusts on southerly aspects and on settled powder on northerly aspects at low elevations. In a relatively shallow zone on a northeast aspect below treeline, the recent slab feels like it has started to facet out. We noticed trapdoor skiing in an area that felt more supportable several days ago. Still got a couple of large collapses on ridgelines on flat slopes.
