Snowpack

About 5cm HST sitting on the crust in red coon glades and around 10cm HST sitting on the crust, on the ridge at tree line. On southern areas without a crust, due to shade or slope angle, the new snow was sitting on about 5cm of facets. HS was around 80cm in the glades with a one finger mid pack. We observed a couple collapses and shooting cracks on the northern side of the ridge to Red Coon Summit. The crown of the old Red Coon avalanche on January 1st was mostly filled in by new and wind loaded snow. That crown was reported to be up to 8ft deep. The bed surface well below the crown was still mostly bare.
