Weather

Very light snowfall under overcast skies this morning, cleared to broken skies with brief pulses of moderate snow. Light winds with moderate gusts from the north to west. No snow transport. Temps rose to 25k at 10k and 15F at 12k.

Snowpack

2” last night and 1” today fell with no wind affect on the 3” from yesterday over the 3/30 dusty melt-freeze crust. Storm board settled to 4” (.45” SWE).

Avalanche

The 3/30 crust was frozen today and small dry loose slides were easily skier triggered this morning. Brief periods of direct solar and some greenhousing quickly moistened the new snow this afternoon, and wet loose slides with a little propagation were touchy this afternoon, running on the 3/30 dust crust. All D1. Good vis into Peeler Basin showed lots of small loose dry but no other avalanche activity.
