Weather
A few moderate gusts during day but mostly light winds at ridgetops. No obvious drifting or snow transport, though northerly slopes near ridgelines and above treeline had been affected by a previous bout of gusty winds. Few clouds during day, temps cool. HS in Marble Bowl near skin track consistently 300+ cm.
Snowpack
Surface snow on exposed northerly slopes crusted, packed or dappled by wind, but on sheltered and shaded slopes ~15 cm recent snow, already faceted. Moist on sunnier slopes. In Marble Bowl, about 1 m snow has accumulated on harder slab from Feb storms.
Avalanche
A few natural sluffs observed on steep, shaded slopes above treeline. Sluffing on N facing slopes not the problem it was Saturday.
