Weather
Mostly sunny, 40F days and 0F nights, with 11" new in 48 hours on Friday.
Snowpack
HS on top of facets. Very much spring on top and winter underneath. Compression tests averaging a fail around 5-6 taps from the wrist at the basal facets. And plenty of epic hero snow to ski on W to N aspects.
Avalanche
Large R3/D3 natural(cornice fall to release wind slab to trigger deep persistent slab?) on SE aspect of Mt Vulcan. 400' wide at crown, ran 1600' vertical, debris was over 50' deep. Wasn't there one lap and had ripped by the next lap as seen from Mt Clover on Saturday. No new avalanches anywhere else.
