Weather
Mostly overcast with periods of broken clouds. Notable effects of solar radiation coming through thin clouds. Moderate NW winds above TL w/ strong gusts. Moderate to intense wind transport throughout the day. Temps stayed mostly below freezing all day.
Snowpack
30cm HN24. All sun exposed slopes saw enough sun for at least minor crusts forming. Lots of snow from past week available to transport. Rapid cornice growth near and above TL. Watched a small natural cornice fall w/ no resulting avalanche on slope below.
Avalanche
Multiple cornice collapses due to active wind loading through the day. All were D1-1.5 and had little to no effect on the slope below. Multiple D1 Loose Wet slides on steep S-W slopes.
